Community Choirs

Since 1994 the Colorado Children’s Chorale has been providing a high quality music experience, without audition or tuition, to children in their communities across the metro area. Chorale staff direct these programs weekly, keeping music education in the lives of as many children as possible.

Aplausos de Colorado Children’s Chorale

is a dual-language choir for boys and girls in second through fifth grades offered at Valdez Elementary School in Denver. Maritza Lynch, music specialist, Academia Ana Marie Sandoval, directs the choir and they perform for their local community.

El Sistema Colorado 

at Bruce Randolph School is a community choir for middle school members of the El Sistema Colorado program. Emily Crile, associate director and Jamie Wolf, music assistant, Colorado Children’s Chorale co-direct the choir.

NE Denver JAMS

is a community choir for boys and girls in third- through fifth-grade living in northeast Denver. JAMS rehearses at Farrell B. Howell ECE-8 School and performs in its community. Amy Friedhaber, performing arts peer observer for DPS and Emily Crile, associate director, Colorado Children’s Chorale, direct the choir.

SunRise!

is a community choir for boys and girls in third through fifth grades living in the Sun Valley neighborhood. SunRise! rehearses at Fairview Elementary and performs in its community. Kevin Padworski, associate conductor, Colorado Children’s Chorale, directs the choir.
